Though people might despise you seeing who you are on the outside He values the preciousness inside of you…
Though people applaud you for your wonderful behaviour outside He knows the real roots…
Who could hide things from Him? He is all knowing God!

You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings

So what does the BIBLE says about No. 40 ?
– The flood lasted 40 days
– Moses stayed with God 40 days
– Moses fled to Midian @ 40 years
– Exodus lasted 40 years
– Jonah declared God’s wrath upon Nineveh after 40 days
– JESUS fasted 40 days
So, a group of theologians think & say that the No. 40 represents A ” Change “.
And they say It’s a time of preparing a person or people to make a fundamental ” change “.
According to the Bible, we a great change whenever the No. 40 appears.
Benefits of lock-down
– The rivers are cleaning up
– Vegetation is growing
– The air is becoming cleaner bcoz of less pollution
– There is less theft & murders
– Healing is taking place
– The earth is @ rest
– The family values are growing
– Most importantly, people are turning to God Almighty
Remember, we are in the year of 2020 and 20 + 20 = 40.

Our situations do not determine our peace…..

His ways cannot be understood easily with human wisdom…..

The nations are like a drop in a bucket….
Our life span is less than an eye wink to Him….
How then can we doubt about His miracle working power?
How can we underestimate what God could do?

We try to deceive ourselves at times doing things that we really don’t want to, just to please people…
It is because we forget that God reads our minds and listens to our hearts…
Hypocritic prayers can never touch the heart of God…
Beause He knows that’s not a true prayer that comes from our heart as He knows us in and out…
Think for a moment! Do you know the God who knows you so well?

God is still on throne….
He has not forgotten His people….
He has heard our prayers and He will save….
He will bring an end to all the disaster soon….
He will once again move the mountains….
He will once again manifest His power….
His salvation is near!
He will reveal His glory!

It takes true Faith in God to go to a place you’ve never seen…
It isn’t so easy to follow without asking questions….
It is not easy to go on a journey without knowing what would happen on the way…
It isn’t easy to overcome the intellect and be sensitive to the spirit of God….
Yes there are times when we just have to follow the Master even when we do not know the distant scene…
Faith wouldn’t ask for a distant scene… just one step ahead would be enough to step out..

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
ARE YOU WILLING TO FOLLOW? WILL YOU OBEY AND GO?? DO YOU KNOW SOMETHING? – YOUR FAITH WOULD ALLOW GOD TO DO THE SUPERNATURAL!!!

God can perform miracles with nothing….
No one gave Him anything when He created the entire universe…
He did it once but now God expects something from you to work His wonders…

When Abraham was still on the waiting list expecting a miracle …
He was ready to pray for someone with the same need…
You could pray for some blessing for a person when you yourself do not have it…
There is a blessing that follows intercession that is made with true burden….
Intercessors are people who know God and understands His ways…
God reveals His heart to the ones who intercede…

DO NOT BE ASHAMED TO SHARE YOUR STORY! YOUR TESTIMONY IN CHRIST MEANS A LOT!! OH REDEEMED OF THE LORD, TELL YOUR STORY AND LET IT BRING MANY OUT OF THEIR PRISONS!!!
There is always a difference between hearing and doing……
We love to hear a lot from God…..
We have an inclination to know what the word of God says…..
We spend time reading the word of God…..
All sounds good… But do we have real intention to live by the word?
God’s word is not just a written law that needs to read and studied…..
God’s word is a practical guide that needs to be followed….

When you want to have the feeling of belongingness whom do you turn to?
When you feel unloved whom do you turn to?

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.
TURN TO THE ONE WHO IS WAITING TO HELP YOU! STOP TRUSTING IN MEN – UNLESS UNTIL GOD SENDS NO MAN CAN HELP!! TURN YOUR EYES TOWARDS THE LORD FROM WHERE YOUR HELP COMES FROM!!!
God closes doors!
He closes doors with a purpose – understand it…..
He does not close it permanently but for a while for a reason…
When God closes a door it might be for us to mature in faith…
When God closes a door, may be that’s not the one He wants us to go through….
He might close one door but in His time He would open many doors…
Don’t fight with God to open those close doors….
Be sensitive to His voice and yield to His will….

It is true that he was skillful and he did have the potential…
But there is a God factor that trains, moulds and makes us deserve…
We need that to fit in the position that God has kept in store for us…
You might seem to be ready according to you…
Wait till God’s time comes to be exalted…
If there is a delay it means in his perspective you aren’t ready yet…..

When something wrong happens around you do you keep spreading it?
Do you pray about it as much as you talk about It?
Why spend time spreading gossip when you can spread the Gospel?

Though many words of encouragement are spoken and written they are not going to bring the real comfort…
Human words and wisdom could never bring the healing that the word of God could…
The work of God’s spirit overcomes the errors, the grammar and the poetic touch…
Yes it is Him who moves hearts and lives!

Migration is not an uncommon biblical theme. In the Old Testament Abraham and Sarah are commanded to migrate from the land of Ur to the land of Canaan.(Genesis 12:1-2). The Israelites had their own migrant experience for over 40 years and God wanted them to recall this always, He said: “You shall treat the alien who resides with you no differently than the natives born among you; have the same love for him as for yourself; for you too were once aliens in the land of Egypt” (Leviticus 19:33-34).
Before Christ’s birth, Mary his mother was running from pillar to post to find a safe place to deliver the child. Every door of civilization had been shut on them for them to be led to the stable. And so, Jesus Christ entered our world amidst strife and terror. He spent his infancy hidden in Egypt as a refugee and a migrant. The Gospels narrate the hard journey to Bethlehem, the lack of welcome, the birth among the animals of the stable. Not to mention the persecution of Herod, the massacre of the innocents, and the flight to Egypt. John the Apostle writes “He came to what was his own, but his own did not accept him” (John 1: 11). Jesus understood what it was to be a migrant.
Pause here for a moment and walk back on the experience of closed doors. God closes doors sometimes to protect us from danger, He may not always open another door but He always does it for our good. But when we shut doors on our fellow beings, we begin to play God and in doing so we choose whom to keep in and whom to keep out. We take justice into our own hands and measure how much justice someone deserves, and how less we ought to mete it out to someone else.
When Jesus looks at the displaced migrant today, walking home hundreds of kilometres in the blazing heat, barefoot, without food and water He genuinely understands their predicament, for He too was born under such circumstances. From Bethlehem to Egypt to Galilee, these weren’t small distances especially when you consider it was made on the back of a gentle donkey or by walk. He never knew when or where His next meal would come from, and that is why when He would speak to scores of people later as an adult, He encourages them saying “Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Matthew 6). He was speaking from His own experience, with the assurance and faith that God would feed Him.
Throughout His ministry, Jesus was depicted as an itinerant mover, a teacher, and healer in transit through Judea and Samaria to share the message of love, and salvation for all. He owned no place of His own and leaned on the generosity of others for His own needs and that of His disciples.
Today any discussion on migrants tends to refer to them as they, the term itself is loaded with derogatory references as the other. But make no mistake, they are the ones who make our city and lives, they wash our dishes, press our clothes, fix our cars, wait on us at eat-outs, fix our water filters at home and work, drive us to work and even ferry our favorite meals to our homes through a few clicks on our mobiles. They do things we don’t want to and because of them, our life is better.
In 1 Peter 2:11, the Apostle terms all Christians as “foreigners and exiles.” Just as God reminded the Israelites that they were once migrants and pilgrims God reminds us we who are passing through this world are migrants too. The situation in our land today does not reflect God’s true justice. However, Jesus in his words made it explicitly clear that we as His followers cannot claim to love God and be indifferent to the needs of our neighbor. We cannot shut the door on the plight of those in need. When we open our doors to a stranger, we open it to the work of God through us, as we read in Hebrews 13: 2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” So, what do we do? Reach out our hand to them in aid, uphold them in prayer, and if the situation arises welcome them with open arms. For in the face of each migrant we find the ‘image’ of God. Let us recognize that little bit of Jesus in every migrant, just as there was the migrant in Jesus.
If you want to touch God you must have a strong desire…
If you want to touch God you must be willing to get closer to Him…
If you want to touch God you must overcome all barriers….
If you want to touch God you must believe in the power of His touch…
If you want to touch God you must be ready to let go things that stop you from doing so…
There is healing in His touch. Are you willing to touch him? Are you willing to be touched?

And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
GOD IS WILLING TO TOUCH YOU AND BRING A PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALING! DO YOU HAVE A THIRST FOR HIS TOUCH!! CLING ON – BELIEVE – STAY IN HIS PRESENCE!!!
Be Patient! You will be rewarded…

When you are patient, you make room for your own blessings….
When you are patient, you would find the answers for your own questions from God…

Self will not rejoice over other person’s victory. If God exalts someone don’t be jealous….

Self will run on toes not on knees. If there is no self denial you wouldn’t depend on God….

Don’t worry, you won’t go down with the waves you face in life but instead you’ll rise up with them and stand strong on top of those very waves cos the God who is with you and within you is your source of strength…. Do not let the situations around you pull you down, instead trust in Him and sit in His presence…. His presence can calm you and strengthen you and with the strength He gives you, you will be able to rise up every single situation and stay on top…. There isn’t a force that can stand against God and can drown you… Do not believe in the lies of the enemy that you’ll be obliterated and no one will remember you anymore…. Rather trust in God who says that you’ll stay on top of those very same waves that were sent to destroy and show the world that you are the child of the living God… Have a victorious day ahead…

My mother used to cook beans, but before she cooked the beans, she picked the bad and dirty beans and threw them at our backyard and only cooked the good beans.
But when the rain came, the dirty and bad beans became seed and grew up and looked beautiful; interestingly, that same person who threw them away started harvesting them; and she starts to see that the beans she threw away some time ago had value.
Now let me tell you
Don’t cry when people throw you at the backyard.
Don’t worry when they reject you and look down on you.
Some may say you are too dull.
Some may say you are worthless.
The rain is coming and the same people who rejected you will invite you.
God loves even those that are left out and looked down upon.

Winning over temptations is not an one time event…..
It’s a plot that devil uses every now and then to pull us down….
Devil tempted the Lord Jesus in every way and departed him for a while….
Jesus overcame the temptations through the Word of God….
We do have to deal with the temptations of the devil all through our lives ….
Do you have the weapon of God with you?
One who is not rooted properly in the word of God would easily be taken away….
Remember you have a war to wage till the end. Clothe yourself with the armour of God always!

And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.
BE EQUIPPED WITH THE WORD OF GOD TO BEAT THE DEVIL BLACK AND BLUE! HE TEMPTED ONCE AND HE WILL DO IT AGAIN!! GOD HAS GIVEN YOU THE GRACE NOT TO FALL AGAIN – GROW IN HIS GRACE!!!
Now this is a really difficult thing to do….
Is it easy for us to bless those who curse?
If we pray for those who curse us what do we pray for?
Are you able to say a word of blessing upon the person who has hurt you?
Are you able to pray for the person who has treated you badly?
This is going to remain difficult as long as you stay away from God….
The more you get closer to the throne of grace, God will show you the reason to forgive!
Forgiving others releases a special grace upon your life….
Yes only those who have the privilege to listen to God can forgive….

What can the storms do when the Prince of peace is on your side….
Peace doesn’t indicate the absence of the storm but the presence of God….
In the midst of the storms you could still find peace if you know who is with you…
When you strongly believe that God rows your boat the storm cannot disturb you….
When you strongly believe that God will not allow any harm to you, your heart would be filled with peace…
At times we make more noise than the storm….
We fail to be still and hear the voice of the Master in the midst of the storm….
Be still! Peace be to you! Yes there is peace in the midst of the storm!

THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD WOULD DEFINITELY KNOW HIS WAYS!!! DO YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?? ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THE VOICE OF GOD AND THE SIGNS HE SHOWS???
He will bring Justice, don’t worry…
He knows all that is happening to you…
He knows how much you have been humiliated…
He knows the wrong things done against you by people…
He records every thought and every action of ours…
It might seem to us that God is silent – But God is always at work 24/7….
He is dealing with your case and He would definitely bring about Justice!
Luke 18:7
And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?
GOD DOESN’T NEED EVIDENCES TO PROVE YOUR CASE! HE KNOWS EVERYTHING IN AND OUT!! BELIEVE IN HIM HE WILL BRING ABOUT JUSTICE – HE IS YOUR JUDGE!!!
When the word of God is planted in your heart how well do you receive it??
When you hear it you open the doors of your heart preparing to change…
When you retain it in your heart you allow it to mould you…
When you persevere you wait with hope to see it come to life in your life!

BE THE GOOD SOIL WHEN THE SOWER SOWS! WHEN THE RECEPTION AND THE RESPONSE ARE GOOD THE RESULT AND THE YIELD WOULD BE EXCELLENT!!!

We lack the power of God in our lives owing to weak faith…
We lack spiritual maturity as we fail to increase in the knowledge of God….
We lack in true love towards Father God that pulls us down in troublesome situations….
Remember you are committed and its not good to turn back….
Be it your Family or ministry when you are committed NO TURNING BACK!

NO TURNING BACK – YOU ARE COMMITTED! YES YOU WILL HAVE TO LET GO MANY THINGS IN ORDER TO BE TRUE TO YOUR COMMITMENT!! DON’T TRY TO QUIT – CLING ON TO HIM!!!
